Paul and Judy are from Adelaide, South Australia. After many hot antipodean Christmases they enjoyed Christmas in Europe in 2012 and 2015 (see the archived blog entries). After getting their ears, nose and fingers cold it's time to experience some of Europe in the Spring. This trip takes them to some "old favourites" as well as many new places.

Salzburg walkabout
We've made it to Salzburg. This is the last stop on the coach tour; tomorrow we go "independent" again. This evening before the dinner of pumpkin soup, Wiener Schnitzel and Sacher Torte (what else?), we strolled through some of the inner city streets and admired the discrete lighting before pausing at one of music's hallowed places: Mozart's birth house.
