Paul and Judy are from Adelaide, South Australia. After many hot antipodean Christmases they enjoyed Christmas in Europe in 2012 and 2015 (see the archived blog entries). After getting their ears, nose and fingers cold it's time to experience some of Europe in the Spring. This trip takes them to some "old favourites" as well as many new places.

Leaving Cologne
We've had a wonderful time in Cologne: the huge cathedral; Roman museum; Christmas markets; concerts; hearty local winter meals at a local pub and more. This morning we travel on to Aachen, almost on the Belgian border. We enjoyed breakfast at a well stocked cafe bar in the railway station. So much to choose from - this is less than a quarter of the cabinet.
